The wait time is on average between 15 and 35 min. It really just depends on what time you go. I'm usually in and out in 20 every day. The nurses are great. This place really saved me and my husband's lives.

Updating again, i have been to other methadone treatment centers, 2 actually, and i only survived 1 month at volunteer in chattanooga Tn bout 12 yrs ago and bout 3 months at the private clinic in fort oglethorpe Georgia. Volunteer has way way to many people there it was awful and dirty also, and the private clinic was nice but the people there made u feel like an outcast. I have to say i have never ever lasted over 3 months in rehabilitation and i been here at metro since december 22, 2018... People holler 16 dollars is expensive, well my addiction was $600-$1,000 dollars a day no lie plus i was in and out of jail a few times i was gonna die or be in prison one, i personally and Very Very Greatful for metro, they have treated me just like they would anybody else there very nice there, i hope calvin stays our director for the remainder of my time here he has really done alot here, its going smoothly since he became director and he doesnt hide likd the others did in the office he is always out talking to people asking bout there recovery or how there doing, really good man, thank you calvin... And as for my counselor donna, well theres not enough words for me to explain my gratitude toward her, she keeps me up to date on everything, she helps me in anyway she can if i have a problem, and if u go in her office frowning, best believe 99.9% of the time u gonnacome out smiling cause she has great warm attitude and awesome humor. I also like A.J my fiancee 's counselor he has wonderful attitude, i like all the nurses they are super and respectful as well. They just all feel like my family. Im so greatful, thank you metro for having me as a patient, you have great team working here.

The wait time deppends on the time that you get there. 20 min in the morning.

My fiance and I go to metro treatment and I just wanna say I really appreciate my counselor A.j., my fiance's counselor Donna, and my old counselor Drew. These are great people and want to see you succeed in life. Thank you Calvin for getting this place back in order and normal, and I gotta say a special thanks to Donna cause the change she has made in my fiance is great. Thanks to all at Metro Treatment Center.... Me and jamie recommend this facility all day long, it's a great place for all in need........

I would like to make an update today july25,2018, I would just like to say that this clinic has helped me so very much and that without my counselor Donna well she is the best . There are days I have walked into the clinic just mad at the world and by the time I leave she has me laughing, smiling, and ready to conquer the day. I have been going to metro for 3yrs in December, and she has always kept me up to date with anything and everything I should know, most counselors people have to ask for specials on holidays, not me, Donna always has my stuff ready to go. Just wanted people to know how professional, caring and all around beautiful my counselor is. If you see this Donna I thank you for all you do and I thank you Calvin for getting the place back in order, Calvin is also a great person. The staff, all the workers here at metro if you treat them with respect they return the favor and most make u just feel accepted here. $16 dollars a day verses $6 - $1,200 a day is a awesome price for me and my fiance. Thank you Metro Treatment Center for all you have and are helping me with. Have a Blessed Day!!!!!!!

Yes bout 3 months ago we had a new director come in that took away alot of people's take homes cause she started checking to see if our systems had the right amount of methadone and no other drugs in our systems and man just about the whole clinic lost there take homes, Pissed alot off but hey, your going there for help, that's what it's for, not to get more to get high on. Now it's back to normal, for the past 2 months I'm am not there no longer than 20 min, and most the time we ain't even been being there no longer than walking in, sign in and dose and right back out the door...... The nurses are sweet good people, the counselors are good people and the director as well is good.. So if u need real rehabilitation, this is the place to be. $16 dollars a visit, they now have the staffing problem under control. Wait times average 15 min, sometimes less depending on the time of day. They have a new guy running the show "Calvin" and the place seems to be doing much better. Would recommend to anyone needing help.

The staff is full of amazingly helpful counselors, a carrying Doctor, and the Director, Monika is a carrying, kind and intelligent woman whom has dedicated more than her obligated time to making sure patients have what they need be it actual medications or an ear to listen. As a long standing patient I can't tell you how much they have help this community without practically writing a novel. Needless to say, they do care; they their best daily and are often underappreciated. Thank you all for doing your jobs so effectively and helping all of your patients. You've changed so many lives the words,"thank you," do not do you justice but it's the best we have at this moment. With love and care, thank you for everything.

This place is awesome! They give me a place to be EVERY DAY for between one abd THREE HOURS A DAY!!!! It's also reeeaaallly out of the way so getting here every day can be a real challenge sometimes, and I love challenges!!! I would regret it if.i didn't mention how willing they are to suddenly discontinue dosing you for sometimes arbitrary reasons and, I don't know bout anybody else but, for me personally, the crushing horror if methadone withdrawal is something I really crave every so often as it really puts things in perspective. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait times around 2-hours as of 7/2017. Clinic is understaffed with an extremely high turn over rate on nurses. Methadone cost $16 a day. You have to deal with assholes cutting in line due to the long wait. Unbelievable amount of people, Pensacola needs another clinic that's more efficient and better ran...

My couselor is the most help I've ever had n my life in n out of treatments he, AJ, is my vote best counselor award

The whole staff is wonderful. Everyone is very polite and helpful. I personally love my counselor.

Decent, but over priced, and the regulations cause you to have to skip days if you work for a living. Missed several days because the doctor doesn't show up until later than he should, and recently was let go from a position because of having to wait on the doctor.

I have been a patient for 10 years and for 10 years this treatment center has saved my life. For people continuing to gripe about the price of the daily dose: how much did you spend on your drug of choice? Was your DOC cheaper to use? If so, quit the clinic and go back to using. For people who gripe the counselors don't care: the problem is, they care too much. They are required by state and federal law to meet certain criteria as a methadone clinic. If you are truly serious about getting your life together the requirements set forth by the DEA should be effortless and only another step in getting your life back on track (if that really is what you want). For people who gripe about how long the wait is to get your dose: the nurses are so significantly under paid at PMTC but they work there because these wonderful and amazing nurses WANT to help you and want to see you successful in life. Before the clinic, how much time did you spend searching for your drug of choice? How much time did you invest in finding, driving and obtaining it? I dare say far more than the 20 minutes you may wait at the clinic. Problem is: you are a selfish addict that expects to be catered to. Stop going to the clinic. If this place is so terrible so awful and you can find nothing positive about your experience- why are you continuing to go? You can choose to go to the other clinic or your dealer but for the rest of us patients who think this clinic is saving our life: quit bitching and either save yours or not. Follow the very easy rules (no illict drugs, no drinking, meet with counsellor) and you will be just fine.

I Re-Posted this: The Original Post I Made Was On 07/06/2015 I have been a patient at Pensacola Metro Center since 2010 and am finally at the point where I am ready to stop. They have successfully weaned my dose from 40mgs a day to 5mgs a day. To all the people writing bad reviews, it sounds to me like you are mad because your councilor(s) discharged you from your lack of participating in your treatment program or because of your IN-ability to pass your drug screens. Also, part of participating in your recovery program means YOU MUST SHOW UP FOR YOUR COUNCLING SESSIONS. As I have been there for years now, I know the reasons patients get "frustrated" with Metro and unfortunately their reasons have nothing to do with the actual clinic. As addicts we must learn to for once stop blaming others and take accountability for our own actions. I am so thankful for Pensacola Metro and especially for my counselor Mrs. Deloris. As well as Mrs. D, Mrs. Donna and all the nurses who have always been there for me. I would not be alive today if it weren't for this clinic. With their continued help, I finally have my life back. There is no amount of money I could re-pay Pensacola Metro Center and their staff for helping me get to this point. Patient # 9443
